Before choosing a service
Can I book a flight or get a live price here today?
Not yet. We are preparing to launch, and nothing is reserved, quoted or paid for on this site. Before any booking you would get a written proposal with confirmed availability and the full terms.
Why use PrivateJetPlug instead of a concierge or going directly to an operator?
The proposed service would keep your trip brief, aircraft evidence, written options and follow-up in one record. That could help when you want assistance comparing permitted options. A concierge or direct operator may already meet your needs. We have not established exclusive supply, better prices or faster service; those benefits would need to be measured in a real pilot.
Can an assistant or family office plan a trip for someone else?
Yes. When requests open, describe the traveler's needs and tell us who approves the trip, and we will confirm details with the person you name.
Is PrivateJetPlug an airline, aircraft owner or part of PCNY?
PrivateJetPlug is a separate proposed commercial brokerage and does not operate aircraft. Future flights would be operated by an appropriately authorized direct air carrier. No PCNY charity funds, donor records, branding, partnership or endorsement are represented here. We make no claims about PCNY's separate commercial services.
What does membership give me?
Membership is a proposed concierge service. The application records travel interest only. Benefits, prices and conditions have not been established, and applying creates no paid enrollment, priority access, discount or flight entitlement.
How quickly will I receive an answer, and can you arrange a flight today?
We are not promising reply times or same-day flights before launch. When we open, we will publish our hours and response times. Please do not use this site for urgent travel.
The aircraft and cabin
Will I see the exact aircraft, or just a photo of that model?
Before a real commitment, ask for the proposed aircraft registration, precise model, seating layout and recent interior and exterior photos of that specific aircraft, with the date confirmed by the operator. Aircraft of one model can have different cabins. Photos on this site are not of a specific aircraft you are being offered.
How do you prevent an image from showing features the aircraft does not have?
An offered-aircraft image must be checked against the operator's current aircraft record and permitted photos. Seat positions, windows, tables, cup holders and other visible details should stay unchanged. Generated pictures cannot guarantee that level of accuracy, so they must not serve as evidence of an aircraft's configuration or amenities.
Can the aircraft or operating carrier change after I accept?
A substitution is possible in charter operations. A future agreement must explain the process, relevant disclosures and your options. The replacement carrier, aircraft, cabin and suitability would need a fresh check; a similar model name alone would not answer those questions.
Will our luggage, children, pets and mobility needs fit?
Share bag dimensions and quantity, passenger ages, pet details and any boarding or mobility requirements before options are selected. Ask for the actual aircraft's baggage restrictions, seating and restraint arrangements, access limitations and operator acceptance. No feature or accommodation should be assumed from a model category or image.
Are Wi-Fi, catering, a lavatory and particular seats included?
Ask the operator to confirm each item on the proposed aircraft and trip. Connectivity can depend on equipment, coverage and service status. Dietary requirements, lavatory layout, seat configuration and any extra charges need specific confirmation; a photograph or general model description is not a promise.
Price, timing and disruption
How is private charter priced?
Most charters are priced from the aircraft's hourly rate multiplied by flight time, and larger jets cost more per hour. On top of that come repositioning (flying the aircraft to you, or back empty after a one-way trip), airport and handling fees, crew overnight costs, catering, winter de-icing and taxes such as the 7.5% U.S. federal excise tax on most domestic flights. Before you commit, you get one written, itemized total. We do not publish prices until we can quote real, confirmed aircraft.
What should a written quote include?
It should make the trip, operating carrier, broker role, quote expiry and relevant terms clear. Ask which taxes, broker fees, positioning, airport or handling charges, catering, waiting time and other costs are included, and which costs remain estimates or payable separately. We are not issuing quotes or prices before launch.
Could weather, deicing, delays or an itinerary change cost more?
Those events can change an operation or its costs. Before accepting a future proposal, review which charges can change, how approval is requested, and the applicable cancellation and refund terms. No blanket all-inclusive or all-sales-final policy is established here.
What is an empty leg, and why might it disappear?
An aircraft may reposition between other trips. A permitted operator may offer that flight for charter, subject to confirmation. Changes to the underlying trip can change its route, timing or availability. The watchlist currently stores preferences and contains no live offers.
Should I rely on an empty leg for a fixed event or return flight?
Consider what happens if the flight changes or is withdrawn. Ask about cancellation terms, refund rights, replacement responsibility and the cost of an alternative before deciding. A return trip is a separate requirement unless expressly included; an empty-leg opportunity does not guarantee it.
Can you fly any route, airport or number of passengers?
The operating carrier must assess the actual trip. Aircraft suitability, passenger and baggage load, airport conditions, weather, operating permissions and international requirements can affect the answer. Route-planning pages show places you can ask about, not confirmed service or availability.
Evidence, privacy and staying current
How would you check the carrier, and who controls the flight?
A future workflow must check the named carrier's relevant safety and economic authority, the specific aircraft and operation, insurance evidence and written acceptance. The direct carrier retains operational control, including decisions about crew and dispatch. A directory entry or tracking observation alone does not confirm that a particular flight can be sold or performed.
Which safety standards do you look for?
Every charter flight must be run by a carrier authorized for that trip, usually under an FAA Part 135 certificate in the U.S. Before proposing a carrier, we would check its certificate, insurance and the specific aircraft, look for independent safety audits such as ARGUS, Wyvern or IS-BAO, and tell you which apply. You would see the operating carrier's name in writing before you commit.
How do I know information is still current?
Check when the source changed, when we last retrieved it and when an operator last confirmed the proposed trip. Refreshing a weekly source does not turn it into real-time availability. A future offer needs its own expiry and withdrawal handling. We never present an operator directory as live flight inventory.
Who gets my details, and can I remove them?
We do not sell your request or share it with an operator without your agreement, and the site runs no advertising trackers. When accounts open, you will be able to download your data and delete your account. The privacy notice has the details.
What must be in place before this becomes a real booking service?
The operating entity, legal documents, supplier agreements, commercial data and photo rights, identity and data safeguards, quote and refund procedures, and actual support coverage must be established and checked. Until then, nothing on this site is a booking, and our legal pages are drafts under review.
Read the proposed process, privacy notice and draft terms. No answer here replaces the specific operating carrier's confirmed proposal or reviewed agreement.
